Chia Pudding

Chia Pudding imagechiapudding_ingrd

As I’ve been experimenting with Indian recipies lately, I’ve realized that traditional Indian spices like tumeric, cardamom, and corriander aren’t as scary as I once imagined. Their wonderful flavors offer a welcomed change of tastes in the dishes I make on a regular basis.

A favorite desert of mine is chia pudding, which capitalizes on the fact that when chia seeds are combined with any liquid, they turn into a gelatin within a few hours. Chia seeds + vanilla extract or cocoa powder is an easy guilt-free and protein-rich dessert! When you’re in the mood for an aeromatic, fresh, but not-too-sweet snack, try this cardamom chia pudding.

Think low carb rice pudding. Feel free to add fresh fruit to sweeten, and enjoy!   xo Kat
